K-9 SEARCH & RESCUE ASSOCIATION (K-9 SRA)
The K-9 SEARCH & RESCUE ASSOCIATION (K-9 SRA) is a Swiss association with the aim to deploy in cases of missing persons. Furthermore the association’s purpose is to train and promote K-9 search teams in the area of trailing. To reach its objectives K-9 SRA works in close collaboration with Georgia K9 National Training Center, USA and Mantrailer Rhein-Ruhr, Germany. The certification of the K-9 teams follows the Tactical Tracker Teams K9 Corps (TTT K9) certification standards established by Jeff Schettler.

Alis Dobler works as a scientific coworker for the police of Zurich city. She has a master in forensic sciences of the University of Lausanne/Switzerland. With her Boxer, Sherpa she started training Schutzhund and obedience at the age of 12. In 2006, she got Katana, a male cane corso. With him she trained basic education and afterwards obedience and tracking. In 2008 she became a dog trainer for the dog school el perro (Switzerland) in which she at first mainly taught education and obedience training. Amongst others she attended several seminars with Günther Bloch (author and field researcher that studies wolves in the wild in Canada), Dr. Prof. Udo Ganslosser (author and behavioral biologist) and Thomas Baumann (author and expert in canine behavior). In 2010 she discovers K-9 trailing with Katana. This discipline was so fascinating for her that she decided to get a bloodhound. In March 2011 K-9 Cannelle arrived in her life at the age of 10 weeks. Alis Dobler became a member of the K-9 SEARCH & RESCUE ASSOCIATION (K-9 SRA) in November 2011. She is also member of the board. Since March 2012 she has also been teaching dog handlers in mantrailing for el perro. She met Jeff Schettler in April 2012 during the K-9 Handler’s course in Düsseldorf/Germany. During this seminar she passed her level 1 Tactical Tracker Teams K9 Corps (TTT K9) certification with Cannelle. After the second seminar with Jeff Schettler in June 2012 in Dortmund/Germany, he offered her to become an assistant instructor for GAK9 Europe. In January 2013 Alis Dobler will attend an intensive trailing course at Jeff Schettler’s training facility in South Carolina, USA with the goal to pass her Level 2 TTT K9.

Jean-Marc Mattern works as a sawmill manager. In his free time he devotes himself to his passion, K-9 trailing. He has always had dogs but it’s in 2010 that he was introduced to this fascinating discipline. Back then his bloodhound Egus was 1 year old. Raphael Morel, chief of the K-9 unit at the police of Lausanne/Switzerland invited him to a seminar of the National Bloodhound Association of Switzerland (NBAS) in October 2010. He attended several seminars afterwards. In June 2011 he passed his level 1 certification with Egus. Five months later he became a member of the K-9 SEARCH & RESCUE ASSOCIATION (K-9 SRA). At the same time he followed an apprenticeship to become a dog trainer and got his degree in February 2011. Since then he has been teaching obedience for the club canin de la forêt de la Joux (France). Since Januar 2012 he has been teaching mantrailing to a group of dog handlers. He met Jeff Schettler in June 2012 during the K-9 Handler’s course in Dortmund/Germany. Afterwards Jeff Schettler offered him to become an assistant instructor for GAK9 Europe. In January 2013 Jean-Marc Mattern will attend an intensive trailing course at Jeff Schettler’s training facility in South Carolina, USA with the goal to pass his Level 2 TTT K9.

La K-9 SEARCH & RESCUE ASSOCIATION (K-9 SRA) est une association Suisse ayant pour objectif d’effectuer des interventions réelles dans des cas de personnes disparues. Par ailleurs, l’association vise à former et promouvoir des équipes cynophiles de recherche dans le domaine du mantrailing. Afin d’atteindre ses objectifs, K-9 SRA travaille en étroite collaboration avec Georgia K9 National Training Center, USA ainsi que Mantrailer Rhein-Ruhr, Allemagne. De plus, la certification des équipes cynophiles est effectuée selon les standards de Tactical Tracker Teams K9 Corps (TTT K9) développés par Jeff Schettler.

Alis Dobler travaille en tant que collaboratrice scientifique pour la police municipale de la ville de Zurich. Elle est détentrice d’un master en sciences forensiques de l’Université de Lausanne/Suisse. Avec son Boxer, Sherpa, elle a commencé à pratiquer la défense et l’obéissance à l’âge de 12 ans. En 2006, elle acquiert Katana, un cane corso mâle. Avec lui, elle suit des cours d’éducation puis de pistage et d’obéissance. En 2008, elle devient éducatrice canine pour le club el perro (Suisse), dans lequel elle donne principalement des cours d’éducation canine. Elle suit plusieurs séminaires, entre autres avec Günther Bloch (auteur et chercheur qui étudie les loups en liberté au Canada), le Dr. Prof. Udo Ganslosser (auteur et biologiste comportemental) et Thomas Baumann (auteur et expert en comportement canin). En 2010, elle découvre le mantrailing avec Katana. Fascinée par cette discipline, elle décide de prendre un chien de Saint-Hubert et c’est en mars 2011 que sa chienne Cannelle arrive dans sa vie à l’âge de 10 semaines. Alis Dobler devient membre de la K-9 SEARCH & RESCUE ASSOCIATION (K-9 SRA) en novembre 2011, dans laquelle elle est également membre du comité. Dès mars 2012, elle se consacre à l’enseignement du mantrailing au sein d’el perro. Elle fait la connaissance de Jeff Schettler en avril 2012 lors du K-9 Handler’s course de Düsseldorf/Allemagne. Au cours de ce séminaire, elle acquiert son certificat de niveau 1 Tactical Tracker Teams K9 Corps (TTT K9) avec Cannelle. Suite au second séminaire suivit chez Jeff Schettler en juin 2012 à Dortmund/Allemagne, il lui propose de devenir assistante instructeur pour GAK9 Europe. En janvier 2013, Alis Dobler ira suivre un cours intensif au centre de formation de Jeff Schettler en Caroline du Sud, USA durant lequel elle devra passer son niveau 2 de certification TTT K9.

Jean-Marc Mattern travaille en tant que directeur de scierie. Son temps libre, il le consacre à sa passion, le mantrailing. Il a toujours eu des chiens, mais c’est en 2010 qu’il rentre en contact avec cette discipline fascinante. Son chien de Saint-Hubert, Egus a alors 1 année. Raphael Morel, chef de la brigade canine de la police Lausannoise (Suisse), l’invite au séminaire de la National Bloodhound Association of Switzerland (NBAS) du mois d’octobre 2010. Il s’en suit plusieurs séminaires. En juin 2011, il passe son certificat de niveau 1 avec Eugs. Cinq mois plus tard, il devient membre de la K-9 SEARCH & RESCUE ASSOCIATION (K-9 SRA). En parallèle, il suit une formation d’éducateur canin entre 2010 et 2011 et obtient son diplôme en février 2011. Il donne des cours d’éducation canine pour le club canin de la forêt de la Joux (France) et y a mis en place un groupe de mantrailing depuis janvier 2012. Il fait la connaissance de Jeff Schettler en juin 2012 lors du K-9 Handler’s course à Dortmund/Allemagne. Celui-ci lui propose de devenir assistant instructeur pour GAK9 Europe. Jean-Marc Mattern leitet eine Sägerei. In seiner Freizeit widmet er sich seiner Leidenschaft, dem Mantrailing. Er hatte schon immer Hunde, aber es ist im Jahr 2010, dass er mit dieser faszinierenden Arbeit in Kontakt kam. Sein Hund Egus war damals 1 Jahr alt. Raphael Morel, Chef der Hundebrigade der Polizei Lausanne (Schweiz) lud ihn im Oktober 2010 zum Seminar der National Bloodhound Association of Switzerland (NBAS) ein. Es folgten weitere Seminare. Im Juni 2011 absolvierte er mit Egus seine Level 1 Zertifizierung. Fünf Monate später wurde er Mitglied der K-9 SEARCH & RESCUE ASSOCIATION (K-9 SRA). Gleichzeitig absolvierte er zwischen 2010 und 2011 eine Ausbildung als Hundetrainer und erhielt sein Diplom im Februar 2011. Er gibt Erziehungskurse für die Hundeschule club canin de la forêt de la Joux (Frankreich) und hat im Januar 2012 eine Mantrailing-Gruppe übernommen. Er lernte Jeff Schettler im Juni 2012 anlässlich des es K-9 Handler’s course in Dortmund/Deutschland kennen. Daraufhin bot ihm Jeff Schettler an, Assistent Instruktor für GAK9 Europe zu werden. Im Januar 2013 wird Jean-Marc Mattern einen Intensivkurs im Trainingszentrum von Jeff Schettler in South Carolina, USA besuchen, anlässlich dessen er seine Level 2 Zertifizierung TTT K9 absolvieren wird.

Alis Dobler arbeitet als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin für die Stadtpolizei Zürich. Sie hat einen Master in forensischen Wissenschaften der Universität Lausanne/Schweiz. Mit ihrem Boxer, Sherpa, trainierte sie bereits im Alter von 12 Jahren Schutz- und Begleithund. Im Jahr 2006 kam Katana, ein Cane Corso Rüde zu ihr. Mit ihm besuchte sie Grunderziehungskurse sowie Obedience- und Fährtentraining. Im Jahr 2008 wurde sie Hundetrainerin für die Hundeschule el perro (Schweiz) in der sie anfänglich hauptsächlich Erziehung- und Familienhundekurse gab. Sie besuchte mehrere Weiterbildungsseminare unter anderem bei Günther Bloch (Autor und Feldforscher, der die Wölfe in freier Wildbahn in Kanada studiert), Dr. Prof. Udo Ganslosser (Autor und Verhaltensbiologe) sowie bei Thomas Baumann (Autor und Verhaltensexperte). Im Jahr 2010 lernte sie das Mantrailing mit Katana kennen. Fasziniert von dieser Arbeit mit dem Hund, entschied sie sich einen Bluthund zu sich zu nehmen. Im März 2011 zog Cannelle mit ihren 10 Wochen bei ihr ein. Im November 2011 wurde Alis Dobler Mitglied der K-9 SEARCH & RESCUE ASSOCIATION (K-9 SRA) bei der sie auch Mitglied des Vorstands ist. Seit März 2012 hat sie eine Mantrailing-Gruppe bei el perro übernommen. Sie lernte Jeff Schettler im April 2012 anlässlich des K-9 Handler’s course in Düsseldorf/Deutschland kennen. Während dieses Seminars absolvierte sie ihre Level 1 Zertifizierung der Tactical Tracker Teams K9 Corps (TTT K9) mit Cannelle. Beim zweiten Seminar, den sie bei Jeff Schettler in Juni 2012 in Dortmund/Deutschland besuchte, bot er ihr an, Assistent Instruktor für GAK9 Europe zu werden.
